Instead of the usual 100 word story, I'd like to wish everyone a healthy and prosperous New Year.
Also, one word of advice: if you must go all Yosemite Sam at the stroke of midnight, firing your guns in the air, use blanks.
But remember to switch your blanks for live rounds after you've welcomed the New Year in with a bang. After all, rapists and burglars may be planning a little New Year's party at your place, invited or not.

Isn't it odd how liberals will hand out clean needles for drug addicts and condoms for homosexuals and teenagers to prevent AIDS, but you don't see them going around poor black neighborhoods with boxes of blank cartridges to keep people from dying when bullets fired to ring in the new year come raining down?
Oh well. One day they'll figure it out.
