I wrote this on a Friday to combine 100 word storytelling and Friday catblogging.
Spam... spam... spam...I know it's only minutes, but I feel like I'm spending hours deleting the junk.
As I'm sorting through my Inbox, my littlest cat jumps up on top of my desk, sticks her tail in her mouth, and does a little mewing pirouette.
"Mew!" she squeaks. "Mew! Mew! Mew!"
It's very interesting, but after a minute of this I get a little concerned.
Is something wrong?
"What is it, Piper?" I ask.
She stops and looks me straight in the eye, tail still in her mouth.
"Mew!" she insists.
And she goes back to turning circles on the desk with her tail.
What a weird little cat.
I record these in blocks. I'm about two weeks ahead of schedule, to this story was going to go up on 12/18.
Piper suffered a series of blood clots and strokes all of the sudden early Monday morning.
It's 0545. I got a call, too soon for the 0730 transfer to the upstairs clinc.
She died at the emergency vet's just now.
